Please ensure that you are connected to the Wi-Fi on the router and then click Create a Network. If you have used a fixed broadband connection, please click xDSL Modem Router. You can then see the setup for full fibre or part-fibre. Following this will ensure your router is setup correctly.
💡If you need a filter to allow for the use of a phone, this can be connected. Please refer to the setup card including in your router delivery parcel.
Connect your DSL cable and the power cable into the back of the router. Once you have switched the router on, wait for a couple of minutes for the lights to illuminate. The power LED will be solid during normal operation.
Ensure that you have successfully connected to the Wi-Fi, then click I have connected. The app will then search for your network. If this is the initial setup of the router, you will be prompted to enter a password.
💡This needs to be at least 8 characters long with a mix of upper case, lower case, numbers and at least 1 symbol.
If you have previously setup your router and you are using the app to change the settings, click on Manage This Network.
Once you have entered your password, you will be presented with a summary of your connection. This will show you all the devices that are currently connected, and how they are connected, to your router. The Plus (+) symbol in the top right corner will allow you to add other devices such as Mesh devices (coming soon). Along the bottom of the screen, you will see Network, Family and More options. Network is the current home screen when you open the app. Family allows you to add parental controls to devices on your network and control any content that can be viewed. More gives access to modify settings on your router, such as your Wi-Fi name and password.
Tap on the image of the router and you will be presented with the below screen.
You can then see all the devices that are connected to your router.
Click on the Edit icon next to the router name to change the name of the router if you are adding a mesh network. This will allow you to see the devices you have connected and what is located in your property.
Clicking on the 3 dots at the top right will allow you to reboot your router if needed.
❗Rebooting will stop your connection from working for up to 5 minutes.
When clicking on a connected device, you will see the options as shown in the screenshot below. From here you can add the device to a family group (content filtering) by clicking on Family Member. If you need to add priority to the device over others, turn on QoS Priority.
💡We recommend only using these features if you are confident in making changes as you could cause connection issues for other connected devices.
When clicking on More from the home screen, you will be able to change your Wi-Fi settings including the Wi-Fi name and password.
❗If you change the Wi-Fi name and/or password, you will need to connect to the network again.
You may not be able to see your 6Ghz network. This is normal within the app.
